Forming, Cuffs & Bangles

June 7, 14, 21 & 28,  1-4pm

   In these 4 classes we'll start out talking about the basic shapes and styles that can be used as a starting point and then go about designing and creating a variety of your own.

Granulation

July 5, 12, 19 & 26,  1-4pm

Granulation is the process of fusing tiny granules or spheres of silver or gold to a surface of a metal base.

It is an ancient technique that produces a beautiful, delicate effect.

Hollowforms

     Two classes to learn how work with metal in clay form, plus assemble, patina and finish your bracelet.

    Then two more classes to become one with the clay.... get more practice and  create more pieces!

Enameling

September 6, 13, 20 & 27,  1-4pm

     Enameling is a vitreous glass coating fused with kiln or torch  on to a metallic base, usually copper or silver. The enamel used  is colored powdered glass.

    Keum Boo is the ancient Korean technique for diffusing 24 k Gold and Silver. This can be done using either Fine Silver or Sterling Silver.
